Kylie Jenner is Taking on Denim with Natasha Zinko
Expanding product categories, Khy Drop 005 is all about denim.
First launched on November 1st of last year, Khy by Kylie Jenner is now gearing up for their elusive fifth drop. In collaboration with designer Natasha Zinko, Drop 005 is a denim-focused collection with an array of unconventionally tailored staple t-shirts.
Launching on April 25th, Khy’s new line is being marketed as “the perfect denim” with “the perfect fit,” a signature expertise of Zinko. At a rather accessible price point, Zinko worked with Khy to create three different denim silhouettes.
Available for preview on the Khy website, the drop will include classic low-rise, high-rise, and straight-leg denim. T-shirts featured in the line consist of a tie-back long sleeve, a waist-cinching short sleeve, and one-shoulder and off-shoulder styles.
With a simple colorway of light wash, medium wash, and dark wash denim, the jeans include contrast stitching and are intended to be long and relaxed looks. Made of 80% cotton and 20% recycled cotton, the jeans are sure to be both durable and comfortable. The light and medium washes feature a raw hem and distressing at the waistband.
The unique t-shirts maintain the everyday timelessness of Khy in versatile colors of black and white. Made of breathable cotton jersey at 94% cotton and 6% elastane, the textiles are comfortable and fitted with added stretch. The styles will incorporate details such as open-back silhouettes, functional ties, cinching, ribbing, drop shoulder, pleating, and twists.
At launch, the entire t-shirt selection will be available for $50 a piece. Denim ranges from $98 to $118 depending on the style.
With a minimalist yet unconventional drop, Kylie Jenner is emphasizing the unique styles of Khy—and we’re excited to see what she does next in her apparel journey.
