Known Source is a New Platform Uniting Fashion Buyers and Sellers

The online marketplace launched earlier this week.


Henry McNeill-Njoku and Theo El-Kattan have just launched Known Source, an online marketplace aiming to make secondhand fashion more accessible and sustainable. While the growth of the resale industry has led many sellers to offer as many products as possible, Known Source is focused on circular curation and aims to support small businesses.

Shoppers buy directly from Known Source’s selection of dealers, including Nordic Poetry, Denim Faygo, Linear Vintage, Archive 89, and Fazed by Finn. Each one is well-established with a unique specialty, and has been carefully chosen for their quality pieces. The platform’s RENEW feature allows shoppers to re-list items they’ve previously purchased, with the goal of reducing waste and giving items a longer life cycle. 

Known Source launched this week with an event held at Ask Us For Ideas (AUFI) in London. Rare pieces from Known Source dealers were on display, featuring designers such as Moschino, Armani, Stone Island, Jean Paul Gaultier, and EVISU. A selection of secondhand items is available now on Known Source's website
