Jenna Ortega Leaves X
I hate Ai
Wednesday star Jenna Ortega has revealed that she deactivated her X account after receiving explicit, AI-generated images of herself as a teenager. In an interview with The New York Times, Ortega expressed her disgust and fear of AI, citing the disturbing content she encountered as a minor.
The actress explained that she initially created a Twitter account to further her career, but the negative experiences she had, including receiving a sexually explicit image at the age of 12, led her to delete the account. Ortega emphasized the importance of protecting herself in an industry where she is constantly under scrutiny and the target of online harassment.
To maintain her mental well-being, Ortega revealed that she avoids using her phone as much as possible and prefers to spend time outdoors. She described her daily routine, which often involves walking, napping in fields, or exploring gardens.
Recently, Ortega appeared in Sabrina Carpenter's music video for "Taste." The video, directed by Dave Meyers, is a dark and twisted fantasy that pays homage to classic films like Death Becomes Her and Psycho. In the video, Ortega and Carpenter engage in a deadly battle for the affections of a male character, ultimately culminating in a surprising twist.
