Daft Punk Unchained Trailer

“Technology has made music accessible in a philosophically interesting way, which is great,” says Bangalter, member of Daft Punk. Him and his partner de Homem-Christo have changed the house music scene in the last decade. The French band boomed in the late 1990s blending house music with the use of synthesisers, making the duo become very special. By adding visuals and story components to their musical production they’ve shook the world of image and sound with an Avantgarde cyberpunk theme. Last weekend Daft Punk took their masks off, as they revealed their new trailer for Daft Punk Unchained directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre. An eponymous documentary showing the evolution of the two members discussing issues from artistic control to how hide their faces with various masks before finally settling on wearing their trademark robot helmets. The two disco legends certainly don’t shy away from big names, as we’ll be able to see a few cameos by the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers in the star studded film. We are very thrilled to see the story of Daft Punk, a band who has influenced the history of electronic music in the past years giving independence to Robots all around the world.
