Best Onstage Guests Coachella 2026

Nostalgia, new music and never-ending legacy

From die-hard fangirls to timeless looks, here is a round-up of Coachella’s best guest appearances from weekends one and two.

One Less Lonely Girl

Billie Eilish has never kept quiet her hardcore celebrity crush on Justin Bieber. After their first viral encounter at Coachella 2019, this year she was pushed onto the stage during his set by none other than Hailey Bieber herself. Tearfully clambering onto the ‘One Less lonely Girl’ stool, Eilish has never been more like one of us. Both child stars, both hugely talented, and one a diehard fan of the other. Bieber serenading Billie onstage has been deemed one of the purest moments from the festival this year.

Pop Mother, Pop Daughter

From one pop diva to the next, Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter’s auras shone together onstage; in dazzling outfits, hand in hand, they reminded audiences that they are the Queens of Pop. Madonna joined Sabrina in a duet of ‘Vogue,’ ‘Bring Your Love’ and ‘Like a Prayer’, extending her legacy for the crowd to witness. With beautiful balance and unwavering control of the stage, they provided the mother-daughter pop duo we needed.

KATSEYE – Demon Hunters

With bandmate Manon’s absence from the stage disappointing fans, people were speculating whether KATSEYE would be able to show out for their Coachella debut. The surprise collab with the singers from fictional girl group Huntr/x proved to critics that they would not be going anywhere. They performed the ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ favourite, ‘Golden’, illuminating the KATSEYE members’ talent, which some say has been hidden by their music so far. With the beautiful harmonies in an acoustic rendition of the song, this collab has fans anticipating the release of KATSEYE’s next EP later this year, hopeful for more of their talent to be unlocked.

Girls Like Girls

Gigi Perez, singer of the viral ‘Sailor Song’ in 2024, brought out queer artist Hayley Kiyoko onstage for a duet of her hit ‘Girls Like Girls.’ As the song celebrates its 10-year anniversary, Kiyoko used this opportunity to promote her new film of the same name, which comes out this summer. The moment uplifted the crowd with nostalgia, and reinforced community within the sapphic fanbase. Perez and Kiyoko also announced their shared single, ‘collide’ (April 22), which will be featured on the film’s soundtrack.
