Berlin Fashion Week just got a little holier—and a whole lot cooler. Clara Colette Miramon unveiled her FW25 collection, Maria hat geholfen (Mary helped), inside the awe-inspiring St. Thomas Church in Kreuzberg, fusing religious iconography with bold, contemporary fashion. Think cool goth mom energy, draped in rich velvets, laser-cut satins, and the kind of sharp, structured outerwear that makes an entrance before you even say a word.
Inspired by ex-voto art and the enduring strength of motherhood, Miramon transforms sacred symbolism into something fiercely modern. The runway pulsed with an electrifying soundtrack by Kin Amor—featuring lyrics recorded by Clara herself—while models glided past in dramatic silhouettes that blurred the lines between devotion and rebellion.
Outerwear took center stage, with standouts like the Flaming Heart Puffer Jackets—a fiery reinvention of Clara’s signature piece—and the Cathedral Dress, a satin masterpiece dripping in intricate laser-cut details. Faux fur accents, gothic metalwork, and unexpected draped denim pieces solidified the collection’s balance between structure and fluidity, classicism and subversion.
Collaborations played a crucial role in bringing this vision to life. The collection featured handcrafted metal breastplates by Mexican artisanal studio Las Mariposas Hojalata, adding a raw, devotional edge to the looks. Meanwhile, Kin Amor’s haunting custom track amplified the show’s cinematic intensity.
“The women in my life stepping into motherhood deeply inspired this collection,” Clara shares. “I wanted to capture the complexity of a modern mother—the daring, dazzling, and unapologetically cool aspects—while honoring the votive traditions tied to the worship of the mother Mary.”
Mission accomplished. Maria hat geholfen is both a love letter to the past and a battle cry for the future—proving that strength, devotion, and a killer puffer jacket are all you really need.
