Chanel Spring-Sumer 2025 Collection
Highlights
Chanel presented the Spring-Summer 2025 Haute Couture collection, focusing on precision, technical expertise, and innovation. The collection explores the transformation of color and form throughout the day, starting with soft morning pastels and ending with deep evening tones.
The runway show at the Grand Palais was designed in the shape of the brand’s iconic logo, creating a minimalist yet striking backdrop for the collection. It features 55 ensembles that merge classic silhouettes with modern elements. Tweed suits have been reimagined with intricate textures, multicolored trims, and voluminous embroidered details. Attention to detail is evident in the use of embroidery and appliqués inspired by nature.
Accessories always play a key role: belts, scarves, and brooches are adorned with images of the sun, moon, and stars. The color palette is dominated by sky blue, violet, cream, and white. The looks are completed with elegant headwear and footwear in the same tones.
Alongside the show, Chanel introduced the new 25 bag, fronted by Dua Lipa. The campaign is accompanied by a short film directed by Gordon von Steiner, featuring the singer strolling through the streets of New York to the track "She Drives Me Crazy" by Fine Young Cannibals. Dua Lipa highlighted that the bag’s spaciousness and practicality make it ideal for everyday life. The design retains Chanel’s signature elements: quilted leather, woven chains, and a thoughtfully designed pocket system.
Dua Lipa, a Grammy-winning artist and global fashion icon, continues to make waves in both music and luxury fashion. Known for her bold style and modern pop sound, she has collaborated with top brands and designers. Her partnership with Chanel reinforces her status as a key influencer in contemporary fashion.
The collection and the new bag emphasize Chanel’s commitment to a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional codes, blending aesthetics and functionality in a relevant format.
