Britney Spears Has Made Her Comeback With The Help Of Elton John
It’s Britney (and Elton), Bitch.
Britney Spears’ hiatus from the music industry is officially over! The pop princess has teamed up with music legend Elton John. Rumors began to swirl earlier this week about a potential partnership between the two artists, and their teams seemed to confirm that a duet is on the horizon.
According to various media outlets, Spears and John have remixed Elton’s 1971 hit “Tiny Dancer,” The much-anticipated record will be released next month by Universal Music. Britney’s career has spanned decades, and she’s done many collaborations before the soon-to-be-released track; her most recent partnership before “Tiny Dancer” was with G-Eazy.
#BritneySpears will make her comeback in August with #EltonJohn in a remake of his classic #TinyDancer! “This was Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of "Tiny Dancer’ as a full duet — and it is incredible” an insider told Page Six!💪👩🎤👨🎤🎶💥👑👑❤️🔥 pic.twitter.com/gBv9vA6IOj

In addition to this being Britney’s first collaboration since 2016, this will also be the Grammy award-winning artist’s first single since 2016. Spears went on hiatus in 2019 to start the grueling legal battle against her family to terminate her conservatorship. However, following her win in court, Spears announced that she would be back after taking time to heal. Since the announcement, she’s been active on social media and even got married.
The announcement of the pop star’s remix with Elton John may have surprised some fans, but Britney shared with fans late last year that she was back in the studio to make new music. In the now deleted post, Spears said, “Pssss new song in the works … I’m gonna let you know what I mean!!!!!.” Hopefully, we’ll get a similar caption soon to confirm the news about “Tiny Dancer.”
