Art Basel Miami Exhibit Showcases Iconic Louis Vuitton Collabs
Featuring Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, and more.
Louis Vuitton is showcasing a curated selection of artist collaborations at Art Basel Miami Beach. The focal point of the French fashion house’s collection is two life-size wax figures of Yayoi Kusama, both in polka-dot dresses. Louis Vuitton has recently announced a new partnership with the Japanese artist, their first since 2012. Exclusive new pieces from the collection are available to view for the first time at Art Basel.
Other highlights include a panda figure sculpture by Takashi Murakami, paintings by Richard Prince and Alex Katz, and a photo by Jean Larivière. The installation also features the Artycapucines Collection, a selection of reinvented Capucines bags designed by contemporary artists.
Art Basel Miami Beach runs from December 1 to 3 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
