No Sesso Unveils New Collection At Art Basel Miami 2021
The brand's new collection is titled "Ghetto Gold."
No Sesso's co-designers Pierre Davis and Autumn Randolph unveiled an opulent range of bespoke clothing at this year's Art Basel Miami.
The Los Angeles-based fashion label was inspired by Afrofuturism while making this collection, which took two years to complete. The lookbook consists of models as Black deities, draped in ostrich feathers, patch-work style leather, and intricate silk and chiffon ensembles. The display features futuristic goddess-like models posed in artful power stances.
Alongside the label's Art Basel feature, Davis and Randolph debuted an exciting collection of films produced with 3BLACKDOT. This LA-based digital entertainment studio has co-created and produced various films, including Lena Waithe's Queen & Slim.
The capsule features 19 dystopian-style couture looks made from new materials and upcycled fabrics from past collections, a nod to the future of fashion. All pieces in No Sesso's "Ghetto Gold" collection are one-of-one and are only available for purchase for private clients.
