'Amsterdam' Film Trailer Drops With Star-Studded Cast

20th Century Studios released the trailer for its new film Amsterdam on Wednesday.

The film, Amsterdam, follows three close friends played by Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington that witness a murder. “We formed a pact, and we swore to protect each other...no matter what,” said Bale’s character in the trailer.

The trio seek to solve the murder mystery in the 1930s and clear their names. Bale and Washington portray soldiers and Robbie portrays a nurse.

According to Variety, the group “find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.”

The cast also includes Robert De Niro, Rami Malek, Mike Myers, Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Chris Rock, Zoe Saldaña, Michael Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Taylor Swift, and Anya Taylor-Joy. Amsterdam hits theaters Nov. 4.
