Agent Provocateur Welcomes You To “Provocation Nation”
The luxury lingerie brand’s latest campaign is a celebration of self-love.
London-based luxury lingerie retailer Agent Provocateur has released its June/July collection, accompanied by a campaign featuring powerful women who speak the “international language of lingerie.” Titled “Provocation Nation,” the campaign’s stars model the latest lingerie and swimwear designs through a vintage camcorder filter.
Susan Holmes McKagan, the 90s model, rocks a leopard print set alongside her two daughters, Grace and Mae. The trio is most known for being the family of Duff McKagan, Guns and Roses’ bass player. They pose in a group picture, complete with matching pink cowboy hats, then take solo shots in full 90s glam.
Another star showing off her Agent Provocateur power is Avril Mathie, the professional boxer and fitness model. She accessorizes a black suspender set with baby pink boxing clubs and takes a fighting stance next to a punching bag. “[Avril Mathie] is a knockout in every sense of the word,” says the photo’s caption on the Agent Provocateur Instagram.
The campaign captures women at their sincerest selves, stripped down and doing what makes them confident. In a celebration of self-love, photographer Pixie Levinson follows the models as they sunbathe, lounge on beds, and pose in nature. Creative director Sarah Shotton cultivates a campaign of empowerment and femininity.
