Irina Shayk Cuts Her Hair For The Met Gala
It's the 90's all over again!
Irina Shayk turned heads at the MET Gala this year, not only due to her delicate, flowery dress that contrasts with her usual edgy, 'femme fatale' persona, but also due to her surprising hairstyle. The model left behind her usual sleek bun and brushed back long hair in favor of a 90's inspired pixie cut that was 'made popular' by supermodel Linda Evangelista.
A sudden pixie cut is usually regarded with fear and skepticism by many, but the model went for it with no fear and no regrets! Shayk says her hairstyling was supposed to bring the drama to the MET this year -'Something has to come dramatic to the Met Gala, and we decided it's about no makeup and fun hair, and here we go.' Her appearance sure was dramatic, her short hair, cut and styled by celebrity hairstylist Harry Josh, bringing us back to a time of simpler American beauty.
