Y-3 Brings the Heat
NY inspired fall/winter campaign.
New York City – Y-3 is back in the Big Apple for its latest campaign, showcasing the brand's Fall/Winter 2024 collection. The campaign, lensed by legendary photographer Max Vadukul, stars cultural icons A$AP Nast and Gabbriette, and captures the raw energy and timeless style of the city that never sleeps.
Vadukul's iconic black-and-white photography perfectly complements Y-3's signature blend of sportswear and high fashion. As he explains, "Shooting for Y-3 in New York felt like returning home. The city’s architectural grandeur and diverse people continue to inspire my black-and-white photography." The campaign echoes Vadukul's 1984 shoot for Yohji Yamamoto, creating a full-circle moment for the brand.
Featuring Gabbriette and Nast as dynamic protagonists, the campaign celebrates spontaneity and movement. The accompanying films offer a deeper dive into the minds of these two style icons. “I wanna live every day like it’s my last. And I wanna fall in love with what I wear,” Gabbriette shares.
