Tyler, the Creator has apologised to Selena Gomez for a series of controversial posts he wrote about the singer in 2010 and 2011.

‘MANIFESTO’ from Tyler’s new album ‘CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST’ addresses tweets the rapper wrote about Gomez and her past relationship with Justin Bieber: “I was a teener, tweetin’ Selena crazy shit / Didn’t wanna offend her, apologize when I see her / Back when I was tryna fuck Bieber, Just-in,” he raps on the song’s third verse.

This (kind of) apology refers to a series of now-deleted sexually inappropriate tweets Tyler wrote about Gomez when she was 18 years old. The explicit posts written by then 19-year-old Tyler, also reference actresses Victoria Justice, Miley Cyrus and Dakota Fanning. Tyler later spoke about Gomez in a 2013 radio interview stating: “We don’t really get along. She don’t like me. We don’t like each other because I’m kicking it with Justin, like that’s my homeboy. She always be mean muggin’ me. Like why are you hating on me?”

Gomez is yet to comment on Tyler, the Creator’s past tweets or his ‘MANIFESTO’ apology.
