A Celebration For Independent Creatives: Tombogo 'Freelance' Collection
A collection paying homage to the freelancer.
“For many of us, 2020 threw out our comfort and routine, forcing us to adapt like freelancers — demanding independence, agility, and tenacity,” says Tombogo. An Oakland, California-based brand developed by Tommy Bogo. In consideration of this, TOMBOGO has launched a collection celebrating the “freelancer”, from independent creatives to full-time employees paying homage to what signifies a “freelancer” during a global-pandemic.
The Fall 2020 collection, reflects on these ideas with a synergy of garments that can be easily transformed according to each environment one encounters. Comfortable enough to work from anywhere, it’s ideal in a new remote world that embodies the lines of work, home and the outside.
From imprinted “Freelancer” hoodies, jumpers and tees to gradient baseball caps, bucket hats, convertible double knee pants inspired by the iconic Carhartt double knee carpentry pants, the kimono cardigan. Accessories including a tote bag, conveyor bag (a hybrid between a fanny pack and backpack) and conveyor belt and much more.
Embracing and modelling the collection in the lookbook are creatives Audrey Mika, J Rabon, Sicology, Darrick Peartree, Lex Giana, and Anthony Quisay. Shop the TOMBOGO Fall 2020 “Freelance” collection here, available to buy now on their website.
