Timothée Chalamet Slays The Red Carpet At London Premiere Of The King
All Hail King Chalamet.
Timothée Chalamet is one of the coolest actors of his generation. At the London premiere of his new film The King, the actor showed us yet another reason why.
Last night, at the BFI London Film Festival and premiere, the 23 year-old actor rocked up at the red carpet in a glittering Swarovski-clad hoodie to greet his thousands of fans. Reinventing the traditional red carpet tux, Chalamet opted for elevated sports-style attire instead. Relaxed silhouettes made by luxury designers? You know that’s the way to our heart…
The hoodie was made by Louis Vuitton and contains over 3,000 Swarovski crystals and 15,000 sequins. The piece is a creative masterpiece designed by the fashion house’s artistic director Virgil Abloh, who has expressed a real decisive pull toward sportswear through his latest SS20 collection.
Chalamet clearly enjoys fashion and is not one to shy away from a daring fashion choice. We loved his iconic sequin harness earlier this year at the Golden Globes and how could we forget that “GROUNDBREAKING” floral suit from this time last year at the Beautiful Boy Premiere? The actor chooses to style himself whatever the occasion, and his latest choice was one for the ages. He paired the LV hoodie with some patent, royal-blue and black combat boots to bring out the nuances in the hoodie, and completed the look with some simple black tuxedo trousers. It’s a 10/10 from us, Timmy!

As far as the movie goes, with the all-star cast boasting Joel Edgerton (who is also a producer and co-writer), Lily Rose-Depp and Robert Pattinson, as well as a script based on a series of Shakespeare plays, you’d be crazy to miss it. The King, is a period film directed by David Michôd about young Henry V’s rise to the throne amidst war and chaos. This one has been on our list for a while and is available to stream on Netflix now. If only getting our hands on the hoodie was so easy…
