The V&A Museum Will Be Displaying David Bowie Archives
Showcasing over 80,000 items from the musicians' archive.
David Bowie was a legendary musician and an icon with nine number-one albums in the UK. As a musician and performer, he has been hailed as one of the greatest of all time and is thought of highly within the industry.
A collection of over 80,000 items, including handwritten lyrics, instruments, costumes, set designs, letters, and album artwork, will be displayed at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, acquired from over six decades of his career. Among the items in the collection will be the stylophone he used for "Space Oddity," which will commemorate the musician's career and iconic moments.
The collection will be showcased at the museum's new location in East London by 2025.
