The One Fashion Piece Your Zodiac Sign Needs

Many years ago, horoscopes didn’t have the impact they do now. Today, people treat astrology very seriously, taking it into account when it comes to pretty much everything in life—work, self-discovery, dating, and even fashion. The TikTok gurus promise that dressing according to your zodiac sign will literally change your life. Verbatim.

Well, while I’m not quite sure that it is the most essential thing to consider while building up an outfit, I do think that certain pieces feel right on each sign, mirroring their personality. So, let’s mix fashion with astrology and have some fun, shall we?

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Ruled by Mars, Aries are among the boldest, most ambitious and stubborn zodiac signs, ready to achieve everything they want. They have strong energy and can be great leaders. Well, if they don’t fight with their followers and scare them away. This sign needs staples that will represent their strong essence. Something like a structured or oversized leather jacket.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Taurus, on the other hand, is patient, calm, and stable. It’s almost impossible to piss them off, as they hardly ever lose their temper. That doesn’t mean they will necessarily agree with you, though, as they have strong opinions. They just value comfort and peace too much to argue. Being the true embodiment of coziness, the best fashion pieces for Taurus would be a knitted sweater or a cardigan.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

The most communicative and curious zodiac sign enjoys learning new things and making perhaps too many friends. They are a true Air sign, always light, easygoing, and a little ethereal. They don’t like restrictions either in life or in fashion, which is why a flowy—preferably satin—dress feels like the perfect match.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

If you know a deeply emotional and intuitive person, it’s most likely a Cancer. They’re the biggest empaths, always picking up on other people’s energy. Not surprising, considering they are ruled by the Moon. Cancers value family above everything, and their wardrobe reflects their romantic nature. So, a vintage maxi skirt will suit them well.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

The most essential thing to know about Leos is that they’re the stars of this zodiac, born to shine. They have a natural charisma and love being the center of attention. Despite their slightly narcissistic side—cause who doesn’t have flaws?—they're actually devoted friends who always have your back. And yes, it might be predictable, but Leos look their best in a leopard- or tiger-print top. I’m not the one making the rules.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

If you need some good advice or help, go to a Virgo. Analytical, organized, and practical, they can come up with a solution to any problem. Even the ones they created themselves. They’re extremely detail-oriented, both in work and in their appearance. You will never see a chaotic Virgo: they simply won’t allow themselves to look like a mess. That’s why a tailored jacket or a blazer works ideally with their perfectionistic aura.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Just like their symbol of scales, Libras are a dual sign. They appreciate beauty, luxury, and aesthetics while also valuing intellect and spirituality. Somehow, Libras manage to make things work, always keeping the balance. That’s why I feel like the best wardrobe piece for them is an elegant black dress: classy, yet sophisticated. Just like Libras are.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

And the title to the most underappreciated zodiac sign goes to Scorpios. They are not as intimidating as the horoscopes make it seem. On the contrary, they’re deeply emotional, passionate, and magnetic. They just know how to stand their ground. If you ask me, a corset suits them best—slightly edgy but still delicate.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

Planning a fun trip? Take a Sagittarius with you. They’re optimistic, adventurous, and humorous, making your days feel brighter. Well, until something irritates them and they explode like a bomb. A true Fire sign, what else did you expect? Sagittariuses will probably look iconic in anything, ripped jeans feel especially right for their confident, rebellious, and sassy energy.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

Capricorns and Aries can easily compete about who’s the most ambitious and goal-oriented. Neither of them will win, of course, as they’re both too stubborn to surrender. Capricorns are known for their incredible organizational skills and discipline that may reach to the point of pedantry. That’s why I feel like cargo army pants are the right fit here—structured and practical.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

If you ask an Aquarius to describe themselves, they’ll probably tell you they’re a misunderstood genius. For the rest of the zodiac circle, they’re just slightly weird. In reality, Aquariuses are progressive, innovative, and enlightened, valuing their individuality and freedom. They reject standards, rules, and trends, so they’ll look the most comfortable in their favorite oversized tee, preferably with a quirky print.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Lastly, the daydreamers of the zodiac, often caught somewhere between reality and fantasy. Pisces are highly creative and talented: no wonder why so many artists belong to this sign. They see beauty in everything and turn ordinary into something special. If they stop procrastinating and overthinking, of course. Soft, delicate pieces capture their spirits the best, so a simple lace shirt is the best choice here.
