The iconic bag gets a modern remix.
The much-loved classic Lady Dior Bag has been given a modern revamp by creative director of the house Maria Grazia Chiuri to invent the new Lady 95.22.
Initially revealed on the brand’s F/W 22 runway, the new style adds a contemporary twist to Dior's heritage by reinventing the lines of the Lady Dior, echoing the year 1995, the date of the classic bag creation, and 2022, the year of the reinterpretation.
It is fresh, sophisticated and elegant in black and white colorways with signature Cannage quilting in a macro-stitched look, a subtly curved silhouette in refined leather and metal, and punctuated Dior charms.
Originally named the Chouchou, the purse got its iconic name after being frequently worn by Princess Diana. Known to have been her favorite accessory, she owned the design in multiple colors; it quickly became the public’s most-wanted bag.
The bag now has a fresh crowd of celeb fans, including house friends BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, actress Anya Taylor Joy and writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie who starred as the face of the campaign.
The Lady 95.22 is exclusively available in select Dior boutiques worldwide.
