The Best Dressed Stars At The 2022 Met Gala
See all the best looks the stars arrived in at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The Met Gala is one of fashion’s biggest nights out – with the theme being “Gilded Glamour” the stars brought out their most theatrical gowns and tuxedos to impress on the red carpet yesterday evening.
"Gilded Glamour and White Tie." The theme continued with 2021's exploration of American fashion -- in a sequel to the Costume Institute's accompanying two-part exhibition, "In America: An Anthology of Fashion." Many stars took inspiration from the Gilded Age, an industrialized era that saw America transform at the end of the 19th century.
The red carpet was filled with giant jewels, long trains and tight corsets as stars beamed for their spotlight moment. Several attendees paid homage to the historical theme through vintage accessories. Youtuber, Emma Chamberlain and Anna Wintour herself accessorized their looks with vintage tiaras.
And Met Gala co-host Blake Lively paid tribute to New York City’s Gilded Age of Architecture. The reversible train to her Versace gown evoked the Statue of Liberty’s copper patina along with her crown and sparkling earrings.
The Met Gala is a night of glamour and high fashion that we just can’t get enough of, see the best-dressed stars from the 2022 Met Gala down below.
