MCM creative officer Dirk Schönberger has released his first ready-to-wear collection for the brand, marrying Munich Disco with Berlin’s underground techno.
The collection offers glamour with a darker, utilitarian aesthetic.You’ll find 70s tailored suit pieces with exaggerated silhouettes, bomber jackets and a dazzling vinyl trench coat, along with monogram matching sets featuring the signature MCM letters. Schönberger commented that “What we’re creating is a new kind of luxury. Something more disruptive for someone younger.” You’ll be sure to get into Berghain wearing a few of these pieces.
