Gomez commented that she thought the world needed a brand like Rare Beauty, one that joins in the fight to break down unrealistic standards of beauty.
“The Rare Beauty community is full of unique voices, lives, and stories. I strongly believe that each of us is not meant to like everyone else, and that’s what makes you rare.” The brand wants to celebrate individuality and will be home to some fab products including foundation, lipsticks, primer & more!
Expected to drop September 3rd in both their online store and Sephora, we can expect a full spectrum of 48 shades with The Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation for $29 USD, a flawless base with the Optimist Illuminating Primer at $26 USD, both claiming to provide nothing but smooth application and long wear.
Joining them is the Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer retailing at $19 USD and for those of us that struggle with a midday oil invasion, the Blot & Glow Touch-Up Kit going for $26 USD is here to save the day.
Moving onto eyes and blessing us with a strong brow game, Rare Beauty will be offering their Brow Harmony Pencil & Gel going for $22 USD in 8 different shades and their Perfect Strokes, Matte Liquid Liner, at $19 USD for that fierce cat-eye. To get yourself the perfect pout, the Lip Souffle Matte Lip Cream at $20 is available in 12 different shades, or if you prefer something a little lighter for everyday wear, the Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm for $16 USD is the perfect handbag essential.
Make sure to finish off the look with the Positive Light Liquid Luminizer at $22 USD and the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush at $20 USD. Make sure to set it all off with the Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist at $24 USD and give your skin that ever so important hydration.
