Saturday Night Live Welcomes Boygenius
SNL's musical deligh.
Saturday Night Live has announced its musical guest for November 11: boygenius, the indie rock sensation composed of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. The trio will share the stage with host Timothée Chalamet, who previously hosted the show in 2020.
Boygenius has been making waves in the music scene since their debut album, the record, came out in March. The album received rave reviews from critics and fans alike, showcasing the group's harmonies, lyrics and melodies. In October, they surprised their followers with a new EP, the rest, which featured four new songs.
The group is also on tour, with their final show scheduled for October 31. The tour, called “boygenius: the tour,” has been a success, selling out venues and attracting praise from audiences.
Bridgers is the only member of boygenius who has performed on SNL before. She made a memorable appearance in 2021, when she smashed her guitar at the end of her set.
Now, she'll be joined by Baker and Dacus, who are both talented singers and songwriters in their own right. Together, they form one of the most exciting musical acts of the year. Don't miss boygenius on Saturday Night Live on November 11. It's going to be a night to remember.
