Rihanna Is Co-Hosting The 2018 Met Gala With Donatella and Amal
Can she top this year's look?
In Rihanna's latest exploit, it has been announced that the singer will be co-hosting the 2018 Met Gala alongside Donatella Versace and Amal Clooney. RiRi is no stranger to the star-studded event, having attended seven times, performed twice, and topped the best-dressed celebrity lists – remember when she totally shut down this year's event with that crazy Comme des Garçons look?
The controversial theme of next year's event, taking place at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, is “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and Catholic Imagination” – a reference to the overlapping of religious art and wearable fashion. Following the event, The Costume Institute will be curating an exhibition of extraordinary ecclesiastical pieces from designers like Cristóbal Balenciaga and Donatella herself, running from May 10 to October 8, 2018.
Save the date and tune into the event coverage on May 7, 2018.
In other news, Rihanna has been nominated for the 2017 Fashion Awards.
