Reebox Launches “It’s A Man’s World” Campaign With A Host Of Female Trailblazers
But it won’t be nothing without women.
Reebox Launches “It’s A Man’s World,” a creative platform designed to celebrate women who are leaving their mark in a male-dominated industries. The campaign was directly inspired by Reebox’s 2011 ad campaign “It’s A Woman’s World,” the new initiative features loads of female trailblazers. The individuals who make up of the platform includes Jazerai Allen- Lord, Sanne Poeze of Girls on Kicks, Kimberly Drew, Ebony Naomi Oshunrinde (WondaGurl) and Anhia Zaira Santana.
Jazerai Allen- Lord designs and regularly appears on panels to talk about her exciting career in the streetwear industry. Sanne Poeze, is the creator of the wildly successful blog Girls on Kicks is inherently a creative who has a passion for sneakers. Kimberly Drew is a public speaker who regularly showcases her in-depth knowledge of the art industry through her multicultural lens. Ebony Naomi Oshunrinde is a Canadian producer known for working with Jay Z, Drake and Rihanna. Finally Anhia Zaira Santana is a conceptual illustrator who creates psychedelic artwork.
This campaign will see Reebox realising a collection of three cult favourite silhouettes: a Club C, a Workout and a Freestyle Hi. Two t-shirts will also be released. Each shoe has been updated with subtle “It’s A Man’s World” design details.
The collection will also feature five collaborative trainers that represent each individual’s unique story: the Club C, the 90’s Aztrek runner, the Freestyle Hi, the Instapump Fury and the Daytona DMX shoe. They will be revamped with vibrant graphics and new colorways, each version emphasizes the distinct personal style of the trailblazing women.
Reebox’s “It’s A Man’s World” collection will be available at Reebox’s online store and select retailers worldwide on September 1.
