Promising Young Woman - No Spoilers
The most brilliant movie you may not haven't heard of
Promising Young Woman should have been one of the best films of 2020, however, due to the closing of movie theatres it didn’t get the cinematic release it deserves.
In her directing debut, Emerald Fennell, who you will most defiantly know from The Crown, and produced by Margot Robbie, you just know the power of this movie already.
A movie with realistic and heart-wrenching truths that so many women have unfortunately gone through. In the opening of the trailer, we see the underlying themes; men hitting on drunk women who are alone as they see it as an easy opportunity.
“Emerald Fennell is saying something here, too, about men. About nice men and about men who think they're nice men, or nice enough men”
Featuring famous women such as Alison Brie, Connie Britton, Laverne Cox, Jennifer Coolidge and Molly Shannon, this movie is a must-see.
