UK Release Set For Post Malone's Maison No 9 French Rosé

Let's get fancy!

After its sell-out success from across the pond, Post Malone’s Maison No.9 French Rosé is set for a UK release.

Created and developed by Post Malone himself, alongside his friends-come-business-partners, James Morrissey and music manager Dre London, Maison No.9 was born from the idea to bring together a best-in-class winery with the musicians love for the Mediterranean lifestyle and rosé wine.

“Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy,” says founder Post Malone. “It’s a nice switch up and I have been thinking about doing my own wine for a while. It was great to work with Global Brand Equities because they saw the vision and we got to do some super cool stuff. Maison No. 9 goes down smooth, and you’re all going to love it!”

The friends turned business partners when James Morrissey, founder of Global Brand Equities, introduced Post and Dre to the opportunity over stories at dinner in Los Angeles. A visit to a vineyard in Provence inspired the three to proceed with the new business venture with a certainty of success due to a shared hustle mentality, a love for wine and deep rooted knowledge of the entertainment industry.

“When the three of us decided to do this, we made it a priority to make something special. Even with hectic travel schedules, we make time to visit the winery frequently as it’s more than just a brand to us - it's a lifestyle. We set out to bring the best French rosé to the modern consumer, with a brand that speaks their language," states Morrissey.

Its unmatched popularity has rumbled the wine industry, breaking records when it was first launched in the US earlier this year; selling out the 50,000 bottles reserved for its pre sale in just 48 hours, resulting in the worlds largest online wine retailer, Vivino, crashing and marking the Maison No.9 French Rosé the most highly demanded product on Vivino in one day.

The name Maison No. 9 is inspired by Post’s favourite tarot card, the Nine of Swords, representing overcoming the daily challenges we all face.

The wine is encased in a taller, sleeker extra flint bottle featuring an elongated neck; designed with socialising in mind, the bottle was made for an easy holding experience, bottle in one hand, glass in the other. The finishing product, a fully sustainable glass closure with the signature No. 9 to encourage re-use of the bottle.

The rosé will be available from Thursday 17th December at 12pm GMT on the Maison No. 9 website, and is available to buy in three sizes: 750mL, 1.5mL and 3L, with an RRP of £16.99, £40 and £99 GBP.

The limited online release comes in preparation for the nationwide launch in 2021. The UK market is the first of many international releases set for 2021 with more to be announced for Maison No. 9.

In other news, the musician turned wine developer has recently been nominated for three Grammy Nominations for the 2021 ceremony, including album, record and song of the year.
