Pornhub Takes Serious Steps To Stop Illegal And Nonconsensual Content
Finally, the day has come.
Pornhub is like YouTube but way more dangerous. Anybody can upload and download the videos but instead of daily vlogs and shopping hauls, the content includes nonconsensual videos, sex trafficking, child abuse and rape. After a recent critical article from The New York Times, Pornhub finally decided to take serious actions.
Only verified users will be able to upload the content. As far as downloads are concerned, they are available only for paid videos, from verified users as well. Additionally, a special "Red Team" will monitor the website and the potentially illegal material.
The changes will come into force next year. In the meantime, all videos have been removed, with the exception of content partners and industry professionals.
