The Palace X Gucci Collaboration Includes Its First Ever Womenswear Collection

The London-based streetwear brand is expanding with this new collab.

POSTED BY MALKINA VARGAS

The iconic skateboard and streetwear brand Palace, which was established in London in 2009, will be partnering with Gucci for a highly exclusive new collection. Although the brand has never launched an official womenswear collection, several of the brand’s pieces can be softly considered as unisex given that the brand consists of many tracksuits, hoodies, sweatshirts, and other usual streetwear attire that are worn by women as easily as they are worn by the targeted male customers. However, with this new Gucci collaboration, Palace will be officially creating their first ever exclusively womenswear pieces including low-rise skirts, bralettes, and baby tees, to name a few.

Despite these exclusively womenswear pieces, the brand will continue to feature the signature staples including unisex hoodies, jackets, and T-shirts all featuring either the iconic Gucci pattern or other intricate touches from the luxury Italian brand mixed with branding from Palace. The collection also features a variety of dual-branded accessories including handbags, cardholders, airpod cases, belts, and a wide range of hats. The collection even offers non-wearable items like a dual-branded safe box, a pillow, two umbrellas, and the “Palace Gucci Moto Guzzi” V7 motorbike.

Since the collection is set for an October 21 drop, the price range is not yet available and neither is the entire range of the items within the collection, which is said to be rounding out to 50 items total. The collection will be featured online and via pop-up stores in Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bangkok and taking over several Palace stores based in London, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and New York. Check out the sneak peak at the collection here.
