OpéraSPORT’s SS27 Show Made Me Want To Dress Like Summer Never Ends

If there’s one show that immediately put me in a good mood this season, it was OpéraSPORT. The Copenhagen label opened Copenhagen Fashion Week with a collection that felt soft, effortless, and exactly like the kind of clothes I want to wear when it's still warm outside.

Called "GROWTH," the Spring/Summer 2027 collection wasn't about making the loudest statement. Instead, it focused on easy silhouettes, delicate details, and that signature Scandinavian balance between relaxed and polished.

The Color Palette Felt So Fresh

I couldn't stop noticing all the shades of blue. There was everything from pale sky blue to faded denim and soft blue-lavender tones, mixed with grey, black, and pops of butter yellow that made the whole collection feel light without being overly sweet.

The textures kept things interesting too. Glitter embroidery, lace, fringe, and silky fabrics added just enough contrast without overwhelming the clean styling. It all looked effortless, which is probably why it worked so well.

These Are The Kind Of Pieces I'd Actually Wear

Slip dresses, capri denim, knotted scarves, and soft draped tops made up most of the collection, and honestly, it all felt incredibly wearable.

I especially loved how OpéraSPORT styled elegant mules alongside bright blue New Balance sneakers. Mixing something feminine with something practical has always been one of my favorite styling tricks, and this collection did it without looking forced.

The floral brooches and delicate necklaces added just enough personality, while the baby's breath headpiece gave one look a romantic finish that felt understated rather than overdone.

The Setting Couldn't Have Been More Perfect

The show took place in the sunshine-filled gardens of the historic Carl Jacobsen House in Copenhagen, with models walking along a gravel runway surrounded by greenery.

It felt like the perfect backdrop for a collection called GROWTH. Nothing felt rushed or overly theatrical. The clothes were allowed to breathe, and that made every movement, texture, and detail stand out even more.

I'm Already Taking Styling Notes

What I liked most was how uncomplicated everything felt. There weren't any impossible runway looks or pieces that only make sense on a catwalk. Instead, OpéraSPORT reminded me that great styling is often about combining simple pieces in interesting ways.

After months of louder fashion moments, this collection felt like a reset. Relaxed tailoring, soft fabrics, fresh colors, and thoughtful styling proved that sometimes the quietest collections are the ones that stay with you the longest.
