The North Face Puffer: A Timeless Winter Essential

The leaves have turned brown, a crispy chill hangs in the air, and seasonal lattes are back on the menu. That can only mean one thing: it's officially puffer season. And, for me, that puffer coat is The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket.

The North Face has done what very few brands can: remained cool and relevant for nearly three decades. I’ve seen a '96 shot of Lauryn Hill, serving cool-girl energy, in her North Face puffer: the epitome of 90s street style.
