The North Face is taking its commitment to circularity up a notch with a new partnership set to reshape how UK customers engage with the brand post-purchase. The outdoor giant has officially joined forces with aftersales technology company Prolong to level up its repair services across the UK—streamlining processes, boosting accessibility, and backing its sustainability mission with tangible tech.

Working alongside its longtime repair partner ACS Clothing Ltd, this digital-first initiative aims to simplify repairs, especially for those tricky, out-of-warranty pieces. Gone are the days of confusing forms and long waits—Prolong’s all-in-one platform integrates both in-warranty and paid repair options, delivering a streamlined user experience while also supporting The North Face’s retail and e-comm ecosystems.

Sustainability meets scalability

“Repairs have become a strategic lever for The North Face,” said Marta Pellegrino, Senior Sustainability Specialist at the brand. By digitizing and structuring its aftercare services, The North Face isn’t just greening its operations—it’s making repair culture mainstream. Prolong’s adaptable system is tailored to fit regional needs while reinforcing global standards, enabling the brand to scale with speed and consistency.

CEO of Prolong, Tanguy Frécon, underscored the hands-on nature of the collaboration, noting, “We tailored every feature to match the reality of their operations. The goal was clear: deliver speed, control, and simplicity, without compromising on brand standards.”

Profit meets purpose

This isn’t just a sustainability play—it’s also smart business. Paid repairs for gear beyond its warranty window introduce a fresh revenue stream, while helping customers extend the life of their beloved adventure-ready staples. It's a full-circle moment that blends The North Face’s iconic “Never Stop Exploring” ethos with modern expectations for conscious consumerism.

As brands across the board rush to prove their green credentials, The North Face is walking the talk—one stitch, one patch, and one digital repair ticket at a time.
