Nicki Minaj’s Father Killed In Tragic Hit And Run

Nicki Minaj’s father was fatally killed in a hit and run accident on Friday evening. 

64-year old Robert Maraj, was walked alone around Mineola, Long Island when police say he "was struck by a northbound, undescribed, vehicle that left the scene of the accident,” according to their statement. 

The Nassau County Police Department says the accused car fled the scene without a promising description from witnesses or a positive identification of the vehicle. The NCPD has their homicide team investigating the case, asking the public to come forward with any information that may help. 

Maraj was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but died Saturday morning from his injuries. 

Although unclear of the relationship with her father, many photos of Minaj and her father Robert have been posted from her various accounts over the years, evidencing they had a loving relationship. 

Minaj’s representatives are yet to make a public statement but confirmed the death of her father. She has remained quiet on all social media channels.
