Welcome to a visionary fashion show of dreams! Miuccia Prada, the head designer of Prada and founder of its subsidiary Miu Miu, has created a winter wonderland to virtually present Miu Miu’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection, Brave Hearts. The Italian fashion house takes us on a beautiful voyage in the snow, making the most of this unique moment in history to explore the mountains through a digital lens.
As part of Paris Fashion Week, Miu Miu Mountain Club encapsulates collective strength and community spirit. Filmed in the heart of the Dolomites Alps, a diverse group of women set out on a journey through clear mountain tops, while huskies playfully run through the landscapes of Cortina d’Ampezzo. The models are dressed for the extreme weather as they walk through trees and circulate a campfire in the evening scene.
Brave identities are reflected in courageous clothing; colorful knits are paired with puffer material jumpsuits and quilted jackets are met with fury knee-high Eskimo boots. The pastel pinks, purples and blues of the collection celebrate the femininity of Miu Miu merged with the practicality of sportswear.
Brave Hearts is a stunning presentation of single personas coming together to form alliances and kinships. Our fantasies are fused with dream-like, practical fashion.
