Megan Thee Stallion Names Her Shooter, Tory Lanez

On Thursday evening, Megan Thee Stallion opened up about the details of the shooting that occurred in the last month on Instagram Live, publicly naming Tory Lanez as her shooter.

The “Savage” rapper spoke out to her fans to put an end to rumors surrounding the extent of her injuries of being shot in both feet after leaving a party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood house. She posted photo evidence of her injuries on Instagram, after deleting them shortly after.

Until Thursday night, Megan has refused to identify the shooter, yet her anger over the rumors that have surfaced since the event made her want to clarify the events of that night.

Addressing the false rumors, Megan denies that she ever hit Lanez, a story that has been circulating on many social media and blogging pages. She explains that after a heated argument with Tory Lanez, she stepped out of the vehicle and was shot whilst walking away.

"You shot me and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying," said Megan, after naming Lanez. "You shot me! I didn't get cut by no glass. I didn't tell the police immediately what happened right there because I didn't want to die."

As to why reports stated her injuries were the consequence of stepping on broken glass, Megan explained that at the scene of the crime that her injury was from broken glass as she didn’t want the police to start shooting at the car when they found out that Lanez was in possession of a gun.

At the time, Tory Lanez was arrested and charged with possession of concealed weapon, yet not charged for the shooting, according to CNN.
