MCM X Pet Therapy Brings Joy, Whimsy & Fur-Ever Vibes

Yes, those are giant poufs shaped like pets.

MCM is rewriting the rules of luxury at this year’s Salone del Mobile, teaming up with Pet Therapy (designed by Altea Biagetti with Atelier Biagetti) for a collaboration that’s part design fantasy, part emotional hug. Think: sculptural cat and dog poufs made from MCM Visetos, surreal palm lights, pet-friendly art, and a literal scented tribute to your favorite fur-babies.

The immersive showcase at Milan’s Giardino delle Arti turns high design into an open-air playground—with daily activities like pet Pilates, dog training demos, and portraits that might make your pup look better than you do.

A Pouf for Every Pet and Person

Crafted for both indoor and outdoor lounging, the collection’s poufs double as playful sculptures and cozy chill zones. Made from upcycled MCM materials, they bring boldness and comfort in equal measure. Oh—and they come in five sizes, so everyone from your teacup poodle to your Great Dane can get comfy.

Design Meets Imagination (and Tail Wags)

Created with input from 11-year-old Altea Biagetti, the collaboration is full of childlike wonder and zero pretension. Expect color, texture, and emotion woven into every corner of the space. It’s not just about form—it’s about feeling. And connection. And a little bit of magic.

Visit the installation April 8–13 from 10am–6pm (skip-the-line tickets at mcmworldwide.com). Warning: you may fall in love with a pouf.
