I forgot how much people genuinely loved Marc Jacobs Beauty until the relaunch started popping up all over my feed. Suddenly everyone was emotionally attached to an eyeliner again.
And after seeing the new collection, I kind of get it. The whole thing feels way more playful than most luxury beauty launches right now. Bright packaging, glitter finishes, weirdly chaotic product names, and colors that actually look fun instead of “wearable neutrals for everyday.” I missed that energy a little.
The Eye Makeup Is The Part I’m Most Excited About

The Drawn This Way eyeliners immediately caught my attention because there are 21 shades, including metallics, glitters, and duochromes. Which honestly feels refreshing after years of every beauty launch being fifty versions of beige.
I also love that the Born Star eyeshadows seem designed for messier, more fun makeup looks instead of ultra-perfect glam. I’ve been so bored of makeup that only looks good in tutorials. These actually make me want to wear color again.
The packaging is very different from the old Marc Jacobs Beauty aesthetic though. The original line had that sleek black minimalist look everyone still romanticizes, while the new version feels much more colorful and slightly chaotic. Personally, I kind of like it. It feels younger and less intimidating.
I Feel Like Makeup Is Getting Fun Again

What I actually like most about this relaunch is that it doesn’t feel overly polished or serious. Marc Jacobs Beauty, coming back with glitter, color, shiny textures, and dramatic eye makeup, feels very correct after years of “clean girl” everything.
The whole collection feels designed for people who want makeup to be part of the outfit again, instead of something invisible. I’m ready for that.
