Versed Has A New Home And It Feels Like A Smart Match

Very invested in this plot.

I still think of Versed as one of the brands that made clean skincare feel way less intimidating. Instead of endless ingredients I couldn't pronounce, it offered products that were affordable, looked good on my bathroom shelf, and actually explained what they were supposed to do.

Now the beauty brand is entering its next chapter after being acquired by Belle Brands, the company behind names like JVN Hair, Pipette, and KVD Beauty.

Versed Has Been Growing Way Beyond Skincare

It feels like perfect timing for the brand. Earlier this year, Versed expanded into makeup with a collection that blends skincare and color cosmetics, before rolling out to more than 300 Ulta Beauty stores across the U.S.

I actually like that the makeup launch didn't feel like a random side quest. It still had the same simple, skin-first approach that made people fall in love with Versed in the first place, so it felt like a natural extension rather than a complete rebrand.

I'm Hoping The Brand Doesn't Lose What Made It Different

Whenever a beauty brand gets acquired, I always have the same question: will it still feel like the brand people originally loved?

Versed built its reputation on making clean beauty accessible instead of exclusive, and that's probably why it's managed to stand out in such a crowded skincare space. The products never felt overly complicated or overly expensive, which is surprisingly rare.

Founder Katherine Power said she's excited to see Belle Brands build on everything the team has created, while Belle Brands described Versed as one of the strongest names in accessible clean beauty.

This Could Be A Really Interesting Next Chapter

Belle Brands has been steadily building a portfolio of beauty names with distinct identities, so Versed feels like it fits naturally alongside the rest of its lineup.

Personally, I'm just hoping this means we'll see even more products rather than a complete overhaul. If the formulas stay good, the prices stay approachable, and the brand keeps that effortless, uncomplicated feel, I don't think fans will have much to worry about.
