The MadeMe x X-Girl x Vans Collab Is Just Our Kind Of Three-Way

Maximum '90s.

POSTED BY DEE CUNNING

Womenswear brands MadeMe and X-Girl have teamed up with Vans for a limited-edition collection of footwear and apparel. With all three brands big on the '90s, the collection channels this nostalgic spirit, reissuing Vans' “Wally” silhouette for the first time since 1996 and matching them up with some cute striped long-sleeved tees.

The patent sneakers come in a cherry red, pastel blue and black, finished with flat cotton laces, a rubberized MadeMe x X-Girl logo atop the tongue and Vans' original “Flying V” logo on the sidewall.

The capsule represents the girls-to-the-front approach held by all three brands. As MadeMe designer Erin Magee says, “I hope to see more women's 'street' brands owned by women be a presence and respected in the scene.”

Take a closer look at all the items above. The MadeMe x X-Girl x Vans collection launches on December 15 and will be available at Opening Ceremony in the U.S., X-Girl and XLARGE stores in Japan, Worksout in Korea and Yoho and Vans.com.cn in China.

In other Vans revivals, the '90s Lampin silhouette is back in allover plaid.
