Louis Vuitton Have Designed A Portable Sneaker Wardrobe

Coinciding with the release of the 408 Global sneaker

POSTED BY RACHEL TOOLEY

As part of the new Louis Vuitton hard-sided luggage collection, the label has released its newest addition of a Sneaker Trunk, which holds up to a total of 14 pairs of sneakers.

The trunk is designed to hold six pairs of low top sneakers up to size 13 and eight pairs of high-top sneakers up to a size 12 within each compartment. Customers are offered the chance to fully customize their trunk purchase, including the monogram design which can be personalised on request. The French luxury brand will be debuting its new design next month at Atelier Louis Vuitton Miami during Design Miami on December 3rd. The design enables owners to stand the trunk on it’s side, as it opens like a wardrobe where your sneakers will feature pride of place. Clever, right?

Coinciding with the release of the trunk, the LV 408 Global Trainers, designed by Virgil Abloh, will be releasing in nine cities worldwide including New York and Chicago. The perfect first occupant for the trunk. Each city will have its own unique colored luggage tag and matching laces.

The first two editions of the 408 sneaker are set to release late this month and early December. The 408 Global ‘New York’ edition is set to release on November 25th whilst the ‘Chicago’ edition will follow on the 4th December.
