Lil Yachty Is Launching His First-Ever Nail Polish
And it carries an important ‘4 ALL GENDERS’ message.
Lil Yachty dived into the beauty waters after announcing his very own nail polish which is releasing later this month.
The Indiana artist has been quite busy outside the music business lately. Following his recent collaboration with Reese’s Puffs and creating his own cryptocurrency YachtyCoin, the rapper is now getting into nail polish.
Yachty, 23, is well-known for being eccentric and painting the nails has definitely become an inseparable part of his regular everyday routine. The nail polish line, first showed off on the artist’s Instagram account earlier this week, comes in an elaborate monochrome packaging under his label Crete, which he founded back in December last year.
Lil Boat introduced the line as a response to the unfair treatment of 17-year-old Trevor Wilkinson, who was suspended from his high school for simply putting colors to his nails. The rapper has fully expressed his support to Trevor, aiming to break the barriers.
“If someone wants to express themself in any type of way, as long as it’s not harming anyone or bringing anyone down, they should be allowed to do so. … You shouldn’t be punished or tormented for being you,” he said.
According to him, the unisex nail paint polish is more focused on men's use as it carries an important message.
The nail paint polish is set to release on 21st May 2021.
