Lil Nas X Almost Teamed Up With Taylor Swift
Here’s why it didn’t happen.
Lil Nas X recently shared that he nearly collaborated with Taylor Swift but ultimately decided to pass on the opportunity. At the GLAAD Media Awards, he revealed that Swift invited him to record a verse on one of her tracks, but he “couldn’t catch a vibe for it.”
While the collab didn’t happen this time, Lil Nas X didn’t rule it out for the future, saying, “When it happens… Global. World. Tay-tay and Nassy.” He also praised Swift’s latest album, adding that he’s thankful she even considered working with him.
Lil Nas X’s New Era of Music
The rapper is making a big return with Days Before Dreamboy, an eight-track EP leading up to his next album, Dreamboy. He’s embracing full creative freedom, stating, “I wanna be myself more than ever this era… If I don’t want to do it, I’m not doing it.”
