Levi’s And Danielle Guizio Have Made The Jeans Of Your Dreams
Levi’s and Guizio are producing chic, feminine jeans that’ll have you ready for fall.
After dropping out of fashion school, Danielle Guizio spent her nights repurposing and tearing apart pairs of Levi’s jeans in the hopes of creating something fresh and bold. Now, she is doing just that through an upcycling collaboration with Levi’s in which she repurposes old Levi’s jeans in order to make a more sensual style.
Let us just say that this collection will have you jonesing for a closet full of denim.
At the center of this collection is the cropped denim corset, intricately laced down the back, while still maintaining its comfort. The jeans themselves come in either a baggy, relaxed fit or a more form-fitting fit that can be styled with just about anything. There are two pairs of denim mini skirts, produced exclusively through Guizio, featuring a hand-distressed look and a minimal floral design, respectively. Finally, the collection also contains a flared, long-sleeve cropped denim jacket, bedazzled at the collar and sleeves. Paired with the rugged American style of the denim, the pieces feature soft, polished lines that make for a relaxed silhouette.
The collection is versatile, allowing the woman to wear her clothes in whichever style they want. The inception behind the look was, as always with Guizio, a desire to celebrate women.
The collection possesses the practicality of denim streetwear, made fashionable by Guizio’s feminine touches. Levi and Guizio are seemingly doing the impossible: turning baggy, blue jeans and making them into the chicest look of the season.
The collection is now available online.
