Collina Strada’s Sparkly New Collaboration With Levi’s
the brand gives the 501® jeans and trucker jacket a playful update.
Collina Strada and Levi’s have teamed up for a second time round to create a colorful twist on the classic 501® jeans and trucker jacket. The Spring 2022 release comes after their previous collaboration which featured star motifs. This latest team-up, in true Collina Strada style, is just as fun.
The iconic Levi jeans and jackets are covered in dyed color swatches, move over Pantone, and rhinestones. The colour swatches are said to be an extension of Collina Strada’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection, which spotlights diversity and inclusion. The clothes are upcycled being made with vintage Levi’s 501® jeans and trucker jackets making each item slightly different in wash and color. Collina Strada creative director Hillary Taymour shared in a statement that she “was testing a dye pattern on a pair of Levi’s. I saw how cute they were, and I was like, I have to make a collaboration with Levi’s”.
The brand is no stranger to creating fun and original ideas, their most recent AW22 collection was shown in a film called ‘The Collinas’ which was a spoof on the MTV classic series ‘The Hills’. Collina Strada never fails to surprise and excite customers and this latest Levi collection does just that.
The unique designs range from $400 to $600 depending on if you choose to have rhinestones on the color swatches and are available to buy online now.
