Legally Blonde is and will remain to be one of the most iconic movie franchises ever created, giving us major looks and relatable quotes to repeat daily. We cannot forget how Elle Woods, a former sorority girl who proves that she’s no dumb blonde made the choice to pursue her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law school but finds herself in a profession she loves and graduates with honors at the top of her class. #GirlPower
The first film was released in 2001 and there's no denying that Elle Woods is quite the character. Audiences around the world fell in love with Reese Witherspoon's iconic portrayal of the blonde, fashion-forward intelligent woman, and this guaranteed the film's sequel in 2003.
In June 2018 Witherspoon took to Instagram to confirm that Legally Blonde 3 would be happening, as she posted a video with the caption ‘It’s true… #LegallyBlonde3’. In the video, Witherspoon donned the iconic pink-sequin bikini from the first film and all we know is that we are ready for the threequel!
Some information that we know so far is that the original writers and producers are back. Marc Platt and Adam Siegel, President of Platt Productions will work on the film, and Witherspoon will also taking on a producer role for the film. Another fact is that the third installment is set to arrive in cinemas on February 14th, 2020, it’s going to be an extra happy valentines day for everyone!
