Lady Gaga is back and ready to shake up the music world with her seventh studio album, “MAYHEM,” dropping on March 7 via Interscope Records. Following a week of cryptic teasers and a revamped website featuring exclusive merch drops, the 13-time Grammy winner is delivering a bold return to her pop roots.

“MAYHEM” dives deep into themes of chaos, transformation, and the unifying power of music, blending the eclectic energy of Gaga’s early work with a fearless, kaleidoscopic artistic vision. “The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved,” Gaga shares. “It’s not a nostalgic throwback but a reinvention—like piecing together a broken mirror and creating something beautiful in a whole new way.”

The Singles So Far

The album includes two already-released tracks:

  • “Disease,” praised for its sizzling synths and industrial beat, with Rolling Stone calling it “a classic Gaga shout-along.” Directed by Tanu Muino, its music video has been hailed by Vogue as one of the year’s best.
  • “Die With a Smile,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars, is a global smash, currently topping the Billboard Hot 100 and Global 200 for its third consecutive week. Dubbed “a romantic, apocalyptic slow-dance” by The New York Times, the track has already racked up over 2.7 billion streams and is up for two Grammy Awards this year, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Fans won’t have to wait long for more: Gaga will premiere the album’s third single and music video during a Grammy Awards commercial break on February 2.

What to Expect from MAYHEM

The 14-track project features production from Gaga herself alongside Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein, promising a fresh yet familiar sound that draws from her vast musical library. While the full tracklist is still under wraps, anticipation is soaring for what’s being described as a fearless and transformative exploration of pop music.

Upcoming Highlights

Before the Grammys, Gaga will perform at FireAid on January 30, joining a powerhouse lineup of artists like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Stevie Nicks, and Joni Mitchell to support wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. Post-album release, she’ll headline Coachella on April 11 and 18 and receive the iHeartRadio Innovator Award on March 17 at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
