Jamaican-born reggae artist Koffee wins big at the 62nd Grammy Awards by being crowned the first female to ever win the best reggae album for “Rapture”.

The five-song debut EP was released in March 2019 and put Koffee on the minds of all reggae lovers in Jamaica and worldwide.

Not only is 19-year-old Koffee the first ever woman to have won in the best reggae album category but she is also the youngest to have ever done it. A night of history for all reggae fans and for Koffee herself.

Koffee, who is widely known for her humility and gratitude, thanks her producers and states that “this one is for Jamaica” in her acceptance speech.

Here at Fizzy Mag we could not be more delighted for Koffee and as big fans of her look forward to all the stardom to come!
