Kith x adidas Is Back in Its Soft Era
And I’m not mad at it
I feel like every time Kith touches adidas Originals, it’s less about reinventing sneakers and more about quietly perfecting them. This drop? Exactly that.
They pulled three silhouettes into the mix, the Samba, the Japan, and the BW Army, and instead of overdesigning anything, they just… softened everything. Pastels, earth tones, creamy neutrals, the kind of colors that don’t scream for attention but still hit when you actually look.

The BW Army is the one doing the heavy lifting though. It’s this slightly under-the-radar model from the ‘70s, super minimal, no loud branding, just clean lines and really nice materials. And now it’s coming in tones like dusty green, soft orchid, and warm brown that feel very “I didn’t try that hard but it still works.”
These Feel Like Sneakers You Wear, Not Just Collect

What I like is that nothing here feels precious. Even though the materials are upgraded, suede, nubuck, leather, all of it leaning premium, the vibe is still everyday.
The Samba stays close to what people already love, white leather, green stripes, slightly refined with perforation and subtle co-branding. The Japan flips that into a deeper green moment. Easy, wearable, no overthinking.

And the release itself? Classic Kith chaos. Draws, limited drops, gone in five seconds if you blink wrong.
It’s one of those collections where nothing is loud, but everything is intentional.
Which, honestly, is why it works.
