Kim Kardashian Stuns In Dolce & Gabbana At The CFDA Awards
The reality TV Star was awarded with the Innovation Award for her shapewear brand SKIMS.
Kim Kardashian brought her signature sexy-yet-minimalistic style to the CFDA Awards last night as she was honored with the Innovation Award for her shapewear brand SKIMS. Kim wore a strapless, semi-sheer latex dress by Dolce & Gabbana in honor of her newfound intimate relationship with the Italian brand. And, of course, Kim sported a SKIMS bodysuit underneath the dress, which was just sheer enough for the garment to be made visible.
SKIMS has become a sensation not only within the shapewear community but the fashion industry at large. The shapewear brand has received praise for its size and skin tone inclusivity, providing a size range of XXS-5X and an extensive range of colors for individuals of many different skin tones. The innovation of SKIMS also comes from the fact that it has evolved into other avenues like providing children options and even unisex and maternity collections. Clearly, SKIMS has forever changed the game regarding the materiality and quality of shapewear and its reachability to individuals of all backgrounds and walks of life.
Kim sported her blonde hair that she has been re-embracing lately and styled in a wet and slicked-back manner. The look was accompanied by no accessories in Kim’s typical simplistic style.
Despite Kim being an honoree last night at the CFDA Awards, she was not the only Kar-Jenner in attendance. By her side was sister Khloé Kardashian who sported a custom golden Laquan Smith dress with a daring cutout just underneath her cleavage. In addition, the 38-year-old dawned a sultry catty-eye makeup look and a sleek bun with her usual blonde hair.
Kylie and Kris Jenner also walked the carpet together, with Kylie rocking a dark yet elegant Mugler gown and Kris Jenner looking absolutely stunning in a Schiaparelli black maxi dress. Kendall Jenner was also in attendance, wearing a simple, sleek white dress and a minimalistic makeup look.
